synopsis

Christian Echols (Austin Cochran) is the bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks.  He enters the world of Barton Heights with a bang.  His bad history with his parents and his laid back negative attitude leads him to a life of crime as well as getting under the skin of Rick Harris (Justin Wendt), the number one jock of the school.  Rick is dating Mallory Mackenzie (Kim Petermann) who lives next door to Christian.  Mallory is best friends with Sadie Cartwright (Amanda Schmidt) who has a thing for the richest teenager in Barton Heights, Sebastian Falworth (Nicholas Giese), whom is the number one enemy of Devon Myers (Dan Justman) because he secretly likes Sadie.  Confused?  Good.   Tim Branta plays Coach, the old and wise advisor, and he might be biting off more than he can chew when dealing with the issues of this generation's teenagers of BARTON HEIGHTS.

This is Barton Films' entry into the Home Run Inn Halloween Video contest.  We didn't do well in the voting because they said you should have your video uploaded by the 18th of October, and they decided they would also end voting on that same day.  I stayed away from the site so I wouldn't see any of the videos so I could keep my idea original.

Oh well, here it is... plus a long gag reel afterwards.  Enjoy.

VIMEO.COM FOR SEASON 2 EPISODES!

Season 2 is almost upon us, and I wanted to let everyone know that I will be uploading the new episodes onto VIMEO.COM!  They allow me to have videos that are longer than 10 minutes which is exactly what I need because I have 13 episodes for season 2 that range 11-14 minutes give or take.

So check out the trailer, get familiar with the site and spread the word!  Stay tuned to this site, twitter, facebook and everything else to figure out when season 2 is going to premiere.

Because I have a lot of content to show, I am going to release them differently this time around.  Instead of one a week for a span of 10 weeks, I will release them every so often.  Since the episodes are longer, this will give time for everyone to see it, spread the word and get excited for when the next one will be up.  I am not done shooting everything, but the first four are almost ready to go.  So I figured, why not!?  

When I made season 1, I was hoping for 100 views per episode giving me 1,000 views for the whole season.  I was crossing my fingers and saying my prayers... just HOPING that would happen.  3 months later, we are sitting on 10,000 views.  And as of now, we are approaching 10,100!  

So the best thank you I can give to the fans is by making more (which I did), and releasing them ASAP (which I plan to do).  So please understand the delay that can occur in between episodes, but remember that I am giving at least 2-3 times as much content per episode for you to drool over.

BEHIND THE SCENES PHOTOS!

On our Facebook Group page (link now located above) we added a few photos of the filming for season 2 of our little show.  Not a whole lot to look at but its something.  Woot.

UPDATE 4.26.09

10,000 VIEWS! 

As of this past Thursday, we officially broke the 10,000 hit mark for viewings for Season One!  My original expectation was to receive at least 100 hits per episode giving me roughly 1,000 views... so obviously I am more than happy with the outcome.

Season 2 is doing well with filming.  Expect some photos from the shoots to show up within the next week to give a taste of what's happening (without giving it away).  Some old favorites will be back for season 2 and they will be joined by a great new line-up of characters to live out the stories of teenage life in Barton Heights.

SEASON 2 FILMING IS HERE! 

Season 2 filming has officially begun!!  That's right kids, its real.  Its really really real... real.  I have a day of filming planned tomorrow... 7 scenes... IF the snow doesn't muck up people driving here.  So everyone should cross their fingers, cross their toes, and cross their eyes.
